Celebrate Acadian Day in Summerside!

Join us to celebrate Acadian Day in downtown Summerside! The event starts at City Hall at 11am with the following highlights:

• Speech by the Mayor

• National Anthems

• Raising of the Acadian Flag

• Signing of the partnership agreement between the city and La Belle-Alliance

Following the ceremony, come enjoy a fantastic BBQ across the street at Holman's Ice Cream Parlour.

Here's what's in store:

• STIMA PEI will be there to entertain the kids

• Musical duo featuring Marcel Caissie and Allan Gallant

• BBQ prepared by Chef Chris Jeffrey, with hot dogs and hamburgers

• For the occasion, Holman's has created a special Acadian-themed ice cream flavor: blueberry, strawberry, and vanilla! Yum!
